GameSalad Creator, an intuitive development platform, enables non-programmers to create original, sophisticated games. You must be familiar with the Macintosh interface, and have access to computer(s) running the 10.6 operating system. Students also must have taken the Introductory GameSalad class, or have similar previous experience with this authoring tool. Course Goals At the end of the 4 sessions (total 24 hours), students should feel comfortable with many of the advanced implementations of the GameSalad authoring tool, and should be well on their way to creating their own game. On the final day of the course, students will collaborate on a unique game, which will then be uploaded to the App Store. HOME |
